Open call for volunteers – Team 3 (2025)

About Missionis fortress: or also known as Great Preslav, was the second capital of the First Bulgarian Empire from 893 to 971 AD. The tonw played a significant role in the development of the Old Bulgarian language and Cyrillic script. The city was renowned for its impressive architecture, including palaces, churches, and fortifications, and became a hub of Slavic culture and literature. More about the place could see here.
WHAT:
- Helping in the archaeological ruins.
- Historical and cultural awareness and actions for populating the region.
- 22 volunteers in the team.
PARTICIPANTS: 8 youth (18-29 years old), eligible countries: Bulgaria, Greece, France, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Spain, and Turkey
PROFILE of participants:
- Working language – English (or at least one participant per country have to know English very good and to help of the rest of the participants from the same country);
- Participants that study Archaeology or History or unemployment youth people with interest in the topic;
- Content creators and active people in Social medias;
- Video/posters/podcast makers;
- An experience in youth programs is not obligatory.
WHAT SUPPORT is insured:
- Your accommodation;
- House related expenses (electricity and water);
- Money for personal needs, food and transport: 23 euro per day = 690 euro;
- Insurance (30 days project period + 2 months after project dates)
RULES of program European Solidarity Corps:
You should have your SENDING ORGANIZATION from your country, that will prepare you before leaving and will be in contact with you on the time of the project.
