THE NATIVITY OF JESUS OR CHRISTMAS

The Christian world celebrates the Nativity of Jesus on the 25th of December. This date marks the birth of God’s son, Jesus Christ. Once upon a time, the holiday was dedicated to various pagan fiery deities. It was a worship to the cyclical character of nature: the completion of one cycle and the rebirth of the world.
