THE ANARGYROI, ST.COSMAS AND ST.DAMIAN

The event is a christian cult of the two brothers: the two healers. People believe that they can cure blindness, lameness and pus-filled wounds.

On the eve of the holiday, sick, blind and crippled people go sleep in the church or in the temple of the saints, and in the morning people wash their faces with the healing water of the sacred wellsprings of these places.
