GOING THROUGH THE “WIND ROCK” ON ST. GEORGE’S DAY
The so-called “wind rock” represents a rock hole through which people who live in the area have a habit of going on each St. George’s Day. It is believed that the custom is pagan and dates back to Thracian times.
