FEAST OF THE POTS

This is probably one of the most delicious holidays that takes place in Bulgaria. Albeit only one day long, people from all over the country gather together in Koriten. Each person brings some food which is prepared with a lot of love and care. The presentation of dishes, typical for the different ethnic groups inhabiting the region of Dobrudzha, is encouraged. These include Bulgarians, Romani’s, Romanians, Turks, Tatars, Gagauz people etc. Consequently, the holiday is replete with a variety of delicious, home-cooked dishes, some of which you have never tried.
