CULTURAL CELEBRATIONS IN MARCH CALLED “THE KYUSTENDIL SPRING”

The Kyustendil Spring holiday recreates ancient traditions from the region. It is a combination of popular practices of Thracians and Romans and their reverence for the solar deities and healers Asclepius, Hygeia, Telesphorus, Apollo and Dionysus.
